Australian team Can’t Say Wips yesterday announced on their Facebook fan page that they will be reforming their squad. According to the same post, the team has been “road testing” the current lineup over the past month or so, noting that some fans may have seen the CSW tag popping up in a few different tournaments lately. After considering their performance with the new roster, they decided as a group to once again start competing under the Can’t Say Wips name.
The lineup will consist of Darcy “Godot” Jose as team captain and position 4, Justin “xMusica” Yuen as the carry, AJ “xRag” Casanada in the mid lane, Phuc Trong “lordboonz” Nguyen as the offlaner, and Jun “Bok” Kanehara as the hard support. This lineup is thus a mix of Southeast Asian and Australian players. The announcement mentioned that the team will be approaching potential sponsors as they push towards the rest of 2016. They said that sponsors would help them in planning any boot camps in the future.
The new roster’s first match after the announcement was against Execration in the Beyond the Summit SEA Series, where they were defeated by the Filipino team two games to none.
