The European division of the Beyond the Summit online series #2 continues, with today’s matches pitting Burden United against Prodota Gaming and Team Empire against Mango Manians. The tournament itself has so far produced results that were more or less expected, with perhaps the only strange occurrences being HellRaisers’ 2-0 loss to Ad Finem and Power Rangers’ defeat at the hands of PRIES.
These two matches later today will likely end as expected as well. Team Empire don’t even need all the talent they have on their current roster to get past a team with no achievements despite losing Resolut1on to Digital Chaos over the weekend. Burden United versus Prodota Gaming might be a bit closer, but with the experience and talent that Burden have over their opponents, it’s reasonable to assume a victory for them here.

There’s a marked difference between the prices put up on these two teams, albeit smaller than the other match. Burden United have the advantage in this matchup on paper, thanks to the names on their roster such as Ar1se and ComeWithMe being more recognizable than, well, anyone on Prodota Gaming. Although not nearly as powerful as Team Empire, these guys have more experience and talent than their opponents do.
There’s a pretty good chance this could go to all three maps, so if you feel like betting on more than just match winner, we would suggest putting money down on a 2-1 result. bet365 has this at a pretty good price of 11/5.

This one shouldn’t even be close. Team Empire have some strong and seasoned talents in the CIS Dota 2 scene such as Funn1k and ALOHADANCE and Mango Manians are pretty much a no-name team still looking to make a splash out there in the playing field. The odds reflect this narrative, with Empire being heavy favorites across the board. At a price of 1/7, the returns are tiny, but even then there’s no way they’re losing this matchup barring some divine intervention or a power outage at the Empire team house.
To be honest this fixture is rather dull having extremely low returns on the favorite and all, but if you must bet on this, bet on Empire winning 2-0. It has better returns at 8/13 than the really low 1/7 for the match winner market.
